Annual Work Ethic Award

Recognizing the importance of strong communities and families, the Forrest E. Powell Foundation awards a prize to local individuals whose work exemplifies the foundation’s mission. This prize is awarded at the Foundation’s annual benefit.

Tiffany Rice, 2013 Winner Work Ethic Award

As a child, Tiffany excelled at school and learned the benefits of sportsmanship. As a teen mother, she continued her education and went on to college at DePaul University. Taking time off, she raised her son, Dajae Coleman, and became interested in public health.
